Julian Bonequi (born December 27, 1974 ) is a Mexican autodidact artist working mostly with Noise, Improvisation and 3d computer graphics. He performs with a wide range of international musicians since 1995. He experiments with percussion, voice and acoustic feedback, performing around Europe with many collectives since 2004, and as soloist since 2010. Curator of Audition Records e-magazine.
Julian Bonequi started studies in digital animation since 2004 in Madrid, and worked as well since 2007 in Barcelona, in production of pieces for artists and museums, in mixed reality installations, interactives technologies and video games projects in collaboration with research groups of the Pompeu Fabra University. Since 2009 is professor of the Master Degree in Animation of the Polythecnic University of Valencia.

Working mostly with Noise and Improvisation, using objects & voice as soloist, since 1995 is devoted to Music. Curator of Audition Records, Dissemination of Musicalibre, drums on FOCO Orchestra, Berlin Improvisers Orchestra. has performed under the conduction of William Parker, Keith Tippett, Eddie Prévost, Michael Fisher. with the London Improvisers Orchestra, Mario de Vega, Hans Tammen, Thomas Bjelkeborn, Germán Bringas, Olaf Rupp, Dave Tucker & Ricardo Tejero... At the end of 90's he played with Decibel in Mexico City.
