Planetary Tequio: AI-powered prototyping for Artisans 2025

This workshop is designed for those who love and know how to create with their hands, consciously and personally combining craftsmanship and creativity through their mastery and talent as artisans, and open to unconventional new media methodologies, as well as new forms of hybrid art.

Participants will learn to use artificial intelligence technologies as tools to support artisans and traditions of the creative communities of Oaxaca, generating digital-informed variations exclusively of their work, that are able to bring to life in the real world.

We review also important concepts of how to protect their work with copyrights, and we analyze and propose sustaintable technological solutions according to the specific needs of each region generating open and respectful dialogue between the participants.
